Double-click Dark Castle: disk → folder → castle application.
Controls & session
Use a keyboard and mouse. Open the Dark Castle disk, then the Dark Castle folder, then the castle application. If a folder opens partly off-screen, drag its striped title bar to the center. You can also select an icon and choose File → Open inside the Mac.
Click the title screen, choose a difficulty, then Play. Click inside the emulated screen for keyboard input. The game’s Info and Options buttons contain its original instructions and settings.
Restarting, closing, or minimizing this window resets the emulated Mac. This session has no persistent save. The external emulator needs an internet connection; if it fails to load, use Open separately.
Dark Castle is a separate classic game and does not award MACI or AAPL rewards.

One MACI Treasury wallet. The team manually deposits AAPL from MACI fees to fund Neko Arena rewards. Paid entries burn automatically after payment is confirmed, before play starts.
The team manually sends MACI creator-fee and creator-tax proceeds to this wallet in AAPL. All deposited reward funding is reserved for players. Pons protocol fees are separate.

After the user confirms Play Real payment, the Treasury service verifies the transfer and automatically burns 10,000 MACI before starting the game. After the server verifies the result, earned AAPL appears under Your rewards. Press Claim AAPL to receive it from the same wallet. Connecting a wallet alone never charges or burns tokens. Late payments are returned in MACI before any burn. If the entry was burned but no game starts within 10 minutes, its locked AAPL value becomes a recovery claim. Demo runs stay free.
How AAPL rewards are planned
The MACI/AAPL price locks when your ticket is quoted. Complete level 5 for 0.5×, level 10 for 1×, level 15 for 1.5×, level 20 for 2×, level 25 for 2.5×, or level 30 for 3×. Claim the highest total after the run ends; previous milestones are included in that total. Entry MACI is burned and never used to pay rewards.
AAPL reward = locked AAPL value of 10,000 MACI × highest verified milestone.
The backend must reserve the maximum reward budget before accepting an entry. If confirmed available AAPL is insufficient, Play Real stays closed. Sessions end at 30 levels. Activation requires the MACI launch, verified pricing, a funded Treasury and an unlocked worker.
